For our family, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation is more than a cause, it is part of our story.
In the 1970s, John’s sons, David and Randy, received care and support through Bloorview during a time that shaped our family in lasting ways. What we found there was more than treatment, it was compassion, encouragement, and a belief in what was possible when we needed it most.
John never forgot that.
He and his son Paul later turned that gratitude into action, building an annual charity golf tournament that raised over $600,000 in support of Bloorview’s work.
Bloorview’s commitment to care, research, and inclusion continues to create a world of possibility for children with disabilities. A mission that meant a great deal to John.
Instead of flowers, donations in his memory will help carry that legacy forward, supporting children and families, just as ours was once supported.
